North American Whiskey and Bourbon

North American Whiskey includes any whiskey that is distilled in North America. These whiskies are all-grain spirits that have been produced from a grain mash that usually mixes together corn, rye, wheat, barley, and other grains in different proportions and then aged for an extended period of time in wooden barrels.

Bourbon Whiskey is a United States made product, must contain a minimum of 51% corn, and be distilled at less than 80% ABV. It must also be aged for a minimum of two years (although most are at least four years) in new charred wooden barrels.
